Reports that Everton’s Jarrad Branthwaite, 21, is on his way to Manchester United have swirled in recent weeks.

As recently as Sunday, there were reports that the “Red Devils” want to snatch the Englishman, who is not selected for the EC, already in June.

The Times comes with information that corroborates the information about a possible June transfer.

The newspaper writes that Manchester United have agreed with the 21-year-old’s representatives on the personal terms on Thursday evening.

The club still has to reach an agreement with Everton on a price for the defender, which according to consensus media is expected to land at around 70 million pounds, well over 900 million Swedish kronor.

Branthwaite was an important cog for Everton last season. He made 35 appearances and three goals in the blue shirt.

He returned to the Merseyside club last summer after being on loan at PSV. His contract with Everton runs until the summer of 2027.
