Newcastle have been in a really hampering striker situation this summer. Last season, Alexander Isak scored the club to the historic League Cup title and Champions League ticket in the Premier League. At the start of the season, Isak, pushing for a move to Liverpool, was left out of Eddie Howe’s match squad. Another striker now reports that he is anything but happy with the situation, hours before the transfer window closes. He is doing everything to get to Newcastle.
Yoane Wissa has 19 Premier League goals for Brentford last season, the 28-year-old has been heavily linked with Newcastle for months. The day before the market closes, the striker chooses to post about the whole story behind the scenes. A situation he believes is unreasonable.

“In recent weeks, there has been increased speculation about my future at Brentford Football Club. That’s why I want to talk directly and honestly about exactly where things stand,” Wissa begins on her Instagram profile.
“I’ve been quiet for most of the summer, but with only a few hours left in the transfer window, I feel compelled to make it clear that I want to leave Brentford. I believe that the club is unreasonably standing in my way despite a number of fair offers throughout the summer. Brentford received a formal offer from another Premier League club, and I then announced that I wanted to move there,” says the very disgruntled Wissa, in a similar limbo situation as Alexander Isak.
