The list of players who have a background from Barcelona at Inter Miami is getting very long.
On Tuesday, it became clear that the MLS club is bringing in former Liverpool and Barcelona midfielder Javier Mascherano as their new manager for next season. Inter Miami, who were the best throughout the season, were eliminated in the first opportunity of the playoffs.

“Throughout his career as one of the world’s best players and as an experienced coach, Javier has always shown what makes him great – relentless determination with the knowledge, instincts and understanding to back it up. We are very happy to welcome him to lead our team,” co-owner David Beckham told Inter Miami’s pages.
In recent years, Mascherano has worked with the Argentine national teams, such as the country’s U23 national team and the U20 national team.
Jordi Alba, Sergio Busquets, Luis Suarez and Lionel Messi all have backgrounds playing at Barcelona.
