Ipswich are (almost) done in the Premier League for now, which is definitely not the fault of 22-year-old striker Liam Delap. – He has delivered an impressive twelve goals and two assists in 31 games in the Premier League. Which brings him to a shared 11th place with Jørgen Strand Larsen on the Premier League’s top scorers list.

Liam Delap is in high demand on the UK transfer market. According to the British newspaper Daily Star, Delap may turn down an offer from Manchester United, who have previously shown interest in him. He is reportedly very uncertain about a move to United, partly because of the club’s challenges this season. Instead, he prefers Arsenal or Chelsea where there is more calm in the ranks.

Manchester United are about to complete their worst Premier League season ever. As of now, they are down in 14th place with only 38 points after 32 games.

The Athletic recently reported that Chelsea are in pole position to sign Delap this summer, but that Everton are also in the running.

Previously, The Guardian revealed that Delaps’ buyout clause is at £30 million, which will be active if Ipswich are relegated from the Premier League – which looks likely with six league rounds to go and 14 points up to safety.
