While Rasmus Hojlund has escaped the “chopping block” in England and is a big player for Napoli, it is now Benjamin Sesko who has the spotlights and impatience directed at him. The 22-year-old has 2 Premier League goals in 10 games, on Saturday it was a very tame game against Nottingham Forest, a game United need to score from their man at the top.

United saved themselves to a 2-2 draw, but after the game Sesko again became a topic: Is he really the striker who can give Man Utd the necessary 20, 30 goals every season?

In an interview on NBC Sports, United legend Gary Neville says he still hasn’t made up his mind about Sesko: “the jury is still out”, but highlights the weaknesses the 22-year-old showed against Forest.

-He looks “strange” in the game, he had a couple of very good opportunities in the first half when the balls were played over the top and his touch was not quite right. At £80m, you could say he’s young, has a lot of potential and is just settling in, but you’ll still see a bit more,” Neville said.

Sesko missed 4 of 13 passes, created no chances and did not hit the target with any of his three shots. The striker is known for his dizzying resilience, but still lost both aerial duels he fought.

Hugo Ekitike and Nick Woltemade came in and established themselves in the world’s toughest league right from the start. United supporters and Gary Neville are eagerly but not very patiently waiting for Sesko to do the same. United legend Berbatov believes one start is that Sesko needs to get more angry.
