The BBC predicted the matches in the 7th Champions League round and thought that Bodø/Glimt at home at Aspmyra would get one goal and Manchester City three. Well, Kasper Høgh, who Bodø/Glimt have received a bid for from Norwich, wants it differently and scored on goal until the 22nd and 24th minutes. Jens Petter Hauge followed up with an excellent goal and in overtime the score is 3 – 1.

Norwich coach Philippe Clement wants a powerful striker at the top. We are reasonably sure that even more people have joined Kasper Høgh’s game after this.

Kasper Høgh has played for AaB and Randers, before he made a guest appearance in Stabæk. The transfer to Bodø/Glimt came in 2024 – the club that loves its underrated Danish talents, and which has been a perfect springboard for Danish players into Europe. Now it is Høgh who may be tempted away from Aspmyra.

The 25-year-old Dane has 81 appearances in the yellow shirt, with a solid 42 goals and 12 assists. According to The Daily Telegraph, Norwich have now sent a bid to Bodø/Glimt for their Danish top scorer.

The club’s big attacking profile, Josh Sargent, has been reported to be on his way out. Kasper Høgh is pointed out as the current replacement for the American star.

City head coach Philippe Clement has received support from the Norwich management to sign a striker in the final days of the January window – regardless of whether Sargent is sold or not. Norwich are fighting for survival in the Championship, and Kasper Høgh is now called up to serve on the island.

Last season, Høgh was the top scorer in the Europa League, with seven goals, as Bodø/Glimt reached the semi-finals.
