According to reports, Roma are still waiting for Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho to make a final decision on their transfer offer.
Sancho is back at United after spending the 2024/25 season on loan at Premier League rivals Chelsea. The Blues had an obligation to buy Sancho, but ultimately chose to pay a fine to send him back to United at the end of the season. – And before that, there was half a season with old club Borussia Dortmund, who despite the Champions League final chose to send the English former long-range winger back to Old Trafford.
Will it almost be another time?

There is no turning back for Sancho in manager Ruben Amorim’s plans, which means he will have to find a new club before the transfer window closes.
Rome awaits Sancho’s decision
The attacker has been linked with several potential clubs this summer, including Besiktas, Juventus and his former club Borussia Dortmund.
However, Roma have in recent days emerged as favourites to sign the 25-year-old, having made a loan offer with a mandatory purchase clause of £20 million.
United are willing to accept Roma’s offer, and now leave it to Sancho to decide whether he wants to join the Italian club.
According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, Roma are still waiting for the player’s final answer after presenting a contract proposal.
From United’s side, they want the transfer to be completed as quickly as possible.
Should Sancho choose Roma?
Roma are preparing for a new era under former Atalanta coach Gian Piero Gasperini.
The 67-year-old coach is known for being demanding, but at the same time has a reputation for developing players that other clubs have considered superfluous.
With this in mind, Gasperini could be the one to help Sancho get back on track after his difficult spells at Chelsea and United.

The former Dortmund player is also likely to get regular game time, especially since Roma are currently lacking natural wingers in the squad.
