Up until Ole Gunnar Solskjaer spoke to The Overlap a few days ago and explained that he had very little say in the transfer market during his time as manager of Manchester United, he has been “blamed” for Jadon Sancho.

It was Jadon Sancho’s brilliant play for Bosussia Dortmund that sparked interest in Manchester United and led to a transfer worth €85 million in the summer of 2021. – It must be sad for the 25-year-old to think about, after being sent out on loan after loan, that he was once valued at €135 million.
The demand for Jadon Sancho for a return to Borussia Dortmund.
Jadon Sancho doesn’t seem to have a future at Manchester United as long as Rúben Amorim steers the ship at Old Trafford. It is already reasonably clear that Aston Villa, who have Sancho on loan, will not buy him at the end of the loan period.
Also at Villa, he has struggled with playing time. So far, Sancho has had to make do with four appearances in the Premier League. It is during his two stays at Borussia Dortmund that he has celebrated his greatest successes.
Dortmund are also said to be interested in signing Sancho this summer, but it comes with one requirement. Sancho would then have to halve his weekly wage of £300,000. according to the Daily Mirror. This is to fit into the Bundesliga club’s salary structure and who will pay so much for a player who doesn’t deliver?..
Sancho joined United from Dortmund in 2021, but was sent back in 2024 after a public dispute and ostracism by then-Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag. Last season, he was on loan to Chelsea, who chose to pay off their purchase obligation.
