When Leicester were once again relegated from the Premier League to the Championship, club legend Jamie Vardy chose to take the opportunity to move on.
No one imagined he would land in Serie A and much less for newcomers at the top level of Italy, Cremonese.

Jamie Vardy has presented himself properly in Italy. – Against Atalanta, the Englishman scored his first goal for Cremonese in Serie A.
Jamie Vardy was responsible for one of the summer’s most surprising transfers when he signed for Serie A newcomers Cremonese.
The
Leicester City legend, who scored goals galore and was a key player in the sensational Premier League triumph in 2016, had never played abroad before, but is now based in Italy.
In the start of the season, Vardy has mostly been used as a substitute, but during Saturday’s game against Atalanta, the Englishman started from the start for the second game in a row.

Then the attacker thanked for the trust by becoming the goalscorer.
When the clock had reached 78 minutes, Vardy stayed in front and hit the 1-0 goal on a rebound from the goalkeeper. The Swedish national team player Isak Hien tried in vain to stop the shot on the goal line.
However, Atalanta came back and equalized through Marco Brescianini five minutes before the end.
The match at the Stadio Giovanni Zini ended 1-1.
