When Jens Petter Hauge sat on the bench at AC Milan and later also Eintracht Frankfurt, it was one of our readers who had a short message to the former Bodø/Glimt player: “Come home, Jens Petter. In 2024, Hauge came “home”, had fun again on the pitch, got some fun games out in Europe plus a league gold. Then the 25-year-old returned to Frankfurt and no one understood anything.
Eintracht did not have Hauge as part of the plan, the player himself clearly showed he wanted a permanent transfer to Bodø/Glimt, the league champion had negotiated a purchase option, so the intention to bring Hauge back beyond the rental must have been there.
After a lot of ifs and buts, now Eintracht Frankfurt and Bodø/Glimt have managed to agree on Hauge’s value.
-It was very good to land this. This means that I get a calm and a stable everyday life in the future where I can focus on what matters; to continue to develop as a football player, says a very satisfied Hauge to NRK.
What the price landed on has still not leaked out, but what does it mean, Jens Petter Hauge continues the development at Norway’s best club and several European big clubs’ nightmare opponents.
