Most people expected Bodø/Glimt and Bundesliga club Eintracht Frankfurt to agree on a permanent transfer for Jens Petter Hauge as he was on a successful loan this season. First, the Eliteserien champions chose not to use the purchase option that was in the loan agreement and then before Christmas we heard that negotiations were underway about a reduced price.

The Norwegian left winger was this year on his second stay in Bodø/Glimt. The first time was when he announced his transfer from Aalesund in December 2018. – Two seasons later, he was sold to AC Milan for €4.8 million.

Eintracht Frankfurt announced on New Year’s Day that Jens Petter Hauge is back in training with the German Bundesliga club and that he will train with others from Monday on.

“A decision on his future will be made in the coming weeks,” writes Eintracht Frankfurt.

Hauge played the entire 2024 season on loan at Bodø/Glimt.

The 25-year-old’s contract with Eintracht runs until the summer of 2026.

Hauge moved from Milan to Germany in the summer of 2021, first on loan and then on a permanent transfer. During his time at Eintracht Frankfurt, he has also been on loan at Ghent.

Eintracht Frankfurt are in third place after 15 games in the Bundesliga this season.
