WWE seems to have made a big change for John Cena’s latest hometown appearance on Monday Night Raw. – Now, WWE’s biggest living star will soon become just one of the world’s biggest movie stars. So in other words, the theater continues…
Cena is quickly coming to the end of his incredible WWE career, with only the last four stops on his farewell tour before he finally hangs his pant shorts on the wall for good.

The 17-time World Champion will wrestle his final match in Washington, D.C. in a special episode of Saturday Night’s Main Event on December 13, but it has been confirmed that he will perform on Raw in The Garden in his hometown of Boston, Massachusetts.
It didn’t look like Cena would be participating in a fight in the ring, but hours before Raw airs live worldwide on Netflix, rumors circulated that ‘Big Match John’ is going to have a surprise fight.
According to Bodyslam.net, Cena will challenge Dominik Mysterio for the middleweight championship – the only WWE title he has failed to win. It was previously thought that Cena would attempt to make history at the Survivor Series in his penultimate match, but plans seem to have changed, and his possibility of a “Grand Slam” has been moved forward in time.
The reports come as Cena posted a statement on her social media about an indispensable final appearance in her hometown.
On X, Cena wrote: “RAW. BOSTON. ONE LAST TIME. If you can be in @TDGarden tonight… DRAG. If you’re looking at home… Don’t miss a single moment on @netflix. THIS IS DEFINITELY SOMETHING TO SEE!”
Who will be Cena’s last opponent?
Last week, Cena made a bombshell announcement when he revealed that his very last opponent will be decided through a special ‘The Last Time is Now’ tournament.
The tournament will feature 16 entrants from Raw, Smackdown, NXT and external companies, many of which have already been confirmed.
The action starts on Monday night with two tournament matches, where Sheamus and Shinsuke Nakamura will meet and Damian Priest and Rusev will also fight each other.
The Miz and Jey Uso are also set to meet in an opening round on a date yet to be confirmed, while the L.A. Knight are set to face a surprise opponent.
