After six months, Henderson realised it was a huge mistake, returned to Europe and put on the Ajax shirt. In recent months, the 34-year-old has been linked with a return to the ball island, now Henderson is responding to the rumour.
The English club is Sunderland, supporters have started to prepare for “their” Henderson returning. The Liverpool legend started at Sunderland, after 71 games Liverpool came and persuaded Henderson about Anfield. Sunderland supporters are now hoping for a 72nd game with Henderson.
-It’s my club, ever since I was a boy of six or seven, then I was in the stands. But I just hope I stay here [at Ajax]. I really like it here. I want to help the club grow further.
