Now Manchester United have once again got Jadon Sancho in their lap – a player who earns a lot of money and who does not fit into many of Ruben Amorim’s plans.
Jose Mourinho’s Fenerbahçe could prove to be an unexpected lifeline for the Red Devils, with the Turkish club interested in the 25-year-old striker. According to Milliyet, Fenerbahçe representatives are even in Manchester to hold transfer talks, with JAdon Sancho being the main target. PSG striker Randal Kolo Muani is another high-profile target Jose Mourinho is chasing.

Jose Mourinho: An uncertain future at Fenerbahçe
While Fenerbahçe were chasing Sancho, Mourinho’s future at the club hangs in the balance. According to the same source, he has had talks with the club’s president in London about his plans.
After a season without a trophy, there is speculation that he could leave the club, with the position of Inter Milan manager a possibility he was linked with before Cristian Chivu took over that role.
The Turkish club has undergone a restructuring behind the scenes, with Devin Özek – who played an important role behind the scenes in Bayer Leverkusen’s historic success in 2023/24 – arriving as sporting director.
However, Mourinho’s presence could be a key attraction for Sancho if he is to move to Turkey, with the Portuguese’s reputation as one of the world’s top managers still intact.
