The Bellingham brothers can make history in the Club World Cup after Jobe completed his move to Borussia Dortmund for a record fee.
Jobe has followed in his big brother’s footsteps, leaving the Championship to join Borussia Dortmund in a deal worth €32 million, with a further €5 million in bonuses after helping lift Sunderland back up to the Premier League.

This is a club record for Sunderland, who signed Bellingham in 2023 for just £1.5 million from his youth club Birmingham City.
Dortmund wanted to sign the 19-year-old for the Club World Cup, which starts on Saturday 14 June, something they did before the deadline in the extra transfer window last night.
With big brother Jude on the pitch for Real Madrid in the same tournament in the United States, fans may not have to wait long to see the brothers face each other. If they meet, it will be the first time the siblings have faced each other in a Club World Cup match.
This needs to happen for them to meet?
Dortmund and Madrid are drawn in separate groups, so fans will have to wait until the playoffs for a possible showdown.
Borussia Dortmund is in Group F together with Fluminense (Brazil), Ulsan HD (Japan) and Mamelodi Sundowns (South Africa).
Real Madrid will face Al-Hilal (Saudi Arabia), Pachuca (Mexico) and RB Salzburg (Austria) in Group H.
Both Dortmund and Madrid are expected to top their respective groups.
If they do, the Bellingham brothers will meet in the quarterfinals – provided neither team advances to the round of eight.
Dortmund’s opponent in the last eight will then be the runners-up in Group E, which consists of River Plate, Urawa Red Diamonds, Monterrey and Inter Milan.

Real Madrid, on the other hand, will have a tougher opponent as they will face the runners-up in Group G.
