A sign that things are not going so well for Liverpool is all the more or less creative jokes that appear on social media about manager Arne Slot and Liverpool fans. – They seem to have taken over the baton on teasing from Manchester United and Ruben Amorim who right now seem to have turned things around.

Fans are hoping a return for their champion Jürgen Klopp has given a hint of a return to Liverpool.
The cash-strapped Premier League champions suffered their sixth defeat in seven games in all competitions on Wednesday night at Anfield, losing to Crystal Palace for the third time this season.
A brace from Ismaila Sarr and a goal from Jeremy Pina added to the misery for Arne Slot, as they were kicked out of the Carabao Cup in the fourth round.
Slot made a number of changes and gave debuts to Freddie Woodman and Kieran Morrison, while 18-year-old substitute Amara Nallo had a disastrous substitution that ended with him being sent off for the second game in a row for the Reds after a red card against PSV last season.
Over the last seven games, Liverpool’s only win has been a 5-1 thrashing of Eintracht Frankfurt in the Champions League, and life doesn’t get any easier with games against Aston Villa and Real Madrid just around the corner.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Liverpool are “100 percent convinced that Arne Slot is the best manager to handle this situation” and have full confidence in the man who delivered the league championship last season.
The Italian journalist added that there is “very good communication on a daily basis” between Slot and Liverpool’s superiors.

Klopp’s Liverpool hint Some
supporters, however, have called on the club to bring back beloved manager Jürgen Klopp, who delivered Liverpool’s sixth European Cup and first league title in 30 years.
Klopp, who had a 60,9% win rate before he “ran out of energy” and left the club in 2024, recently appeared on the Diary of a CEO podcast with Steven Bartlett and was asked if he would return to lead Liverpool, and he didn’t rule it out.
“I said I will never coach another team in England,” Klopp replied.
“That means if it’s Liverpool, theoretically, yes. I don’t even know exactly [what it takes to return]. I love what I’m doing right now.”
“I don’t miss the coaching job. I don’t. I train, but different. Not players. I don’t miss standing in the rain for two and a half, three hours. I don’t miss going to a press conference three times a week. Having 10, 12 injuries a week. Who misses that? I don’t.”
“I don’t miss being in the locker room, in the sense that I didn’t have it often. I trained 1080-and-some games, so I was in the locker room very often.”
“I like to do what I’m doing right now. And in my head, only if I’m 100 percent focused on that, can I do really well.”
If Klopp were to return to Liverpool, he would follow in the footsteps of Kenny Dalglish, who had two spells in charge of the Reds – his second spell starting in 2011 and ending in 2012.
The German currently works as ‘Head of Global Soccer’ for Red Bull and enjoys a less demanding role that does not require daily work.
