Liverpool were offered to sign Real Madrid star Rodrygo in the summer, but showed little interest. The Brazilian was hailed by Jude Bellingham as the real talent at Real Madrid this summer, saying: “Rodrygo is so underrated. For me, he’s probably the most talented and most gifted player in the squad.” The fact that Liverpool management shrugged their shoulders at the offer to sign Rodrygo does not mean that the Premier League rivals are letting the opportunity pass by.
Tottenham considered Rodrygo in August, but never made a formal bid for the winger. The most serious approach came from Arsenal, who had discussions and were informed that Madrid would consider offers in the region of 80 million euros.

Manchester City also sniffed at the possibility, then Real coach Xabi Alonso stated firmly at the end of August that he needed Rodrygo in the squad.
However, the lack of regular game time has fuelled speculation about a potential Rodrygo exit in January, especially since Real Madric have opened up for sale at the “right price”.
According to Caughtoffside’s sources, Pep Guardiola loves Rodrygo as a type of player, a “perfect match” and a “key piece” to the City manager’s attacking system. City are prepared to go for Rodrygo signing in January, where €80 million is considered realistic for City – if they can slim down the squad further in the winter transfer window, it is reported.
