Kenny Tete extends contract with Fulham – turned Everton down
Kenny Tete has opted to sign a new three-year contract with Fulham until 2028, rather than taking the opportunity for a free transfer to Everton.
The Dutch right-back’s deal with Fulham expired on Monday, making him a free agent. But he has now chosen to extend his stay at the club with a deal that includes a club option for another year.

Four Fulham players out of contract
The following players are now out of contract after their contracts with Fulham have expired:
- Kenny Tete – has chosen to extend
- Tom Cairney – offered new deal, but future undecided
- Willian – leaving the club again after short-term deal
- Carlos Vinicius – on his way out of the club
Willian returned to Fulham in the middle of last season on a short-term contract, but will now leave the club again. Carlos Vinicius’ time at the club is also over.
Tete’s decision to stay represents a significant boost for Fulham, who retain an experienced defender in the squad. At the same time, the club is waiting for a response from team captain Tom Cairney if he accepts the new contract offer.
