Earlier this month, transfer journalist Gianluca Di Marzio reported that Kevin de Bruyne had already received an offer from Liverpool. The Belgian is not leaving Manchester City voluntarily and has signalled he is ready for more Premier League and Champions League, but a move from City to Liverpool would be shockingly spectacular. Now the Belgian is receiving an “open invitation” from Liverpool’s biggest star.

There were many Liverpool supporters who threw themselves at the rumour with a thumbs up, about Kevin de Bruyne in midfield in a Liverpool shirt. A financial expert who follows the Premier League closely thought this was very, very unlikely. Still, this gets a new lease of life when Liverpool superstar Mo Salah, who himself has made the choice to continue his success at Liverpool, waves De Bruyne to Anfield.

Mo Salah is in a great mood after securing the title and continuing his contract with Liverpool, and is willing to answer questions from the journalists. When asked about Kevin de Bruyne’s exit from Premier League title wholesaler Manchester City, first a tribute comes, then an invitation.

“I want to congratulate him on his career. He’s done a fantastic job for City, he’s been fantastic for the league and I wish him all the best,” Salah said, according to the Manchester Evening News.

Before he adds with a twinkle in his eye: “And yes, we have a place for him!”
