Kevin de Bruyne is finishing up at Manchester City. It was not self-chosen, but City chose to “look ahead”, instead of having Guardiola’s manager out on the pitch going forward. Saudi Arabian money bins are opening, while David Beckham and Inter Miami will do everything possible for the Belgian to accept the invitation to play with Messi, and get on the plane to Trump country. De Bruyne himself has not closed a single door.
Few see it as likely that the player, who has helped give City supporters the biggest upturn in the club’s history, will wear an English club shirt other than the light blue. It is therefore interesting to hear the 33-year-old himself does not close any doors on the ball island.

In an interview this weekend, the Belgian is asked if he could end up at an English club.
-I don’t know. Honestly, I don’t know. It’s hard to say, because the decision was made a short time ago. Nothing is decided in a week. I have hardly seen my family since the announcement. I’ll talk to them and then we’ll see which teams want me. I don’t know,” De Bruyne told Viaplay.
