With nine Bundesliga titles and a Champions League trophy on his CV, it must be a downer for French right winger Kingsley Coman to play desert football despite a salary that is supposed to be double the 15 million euros he earns at Bayern Munich.
Now he has signed for Cristiano Ronaldo’s Saudi Arabian club Al-Nassr. – They are said to have paid 25 million euros plus bonuses for the 29-year-old.

Kingsley Coman is stepping down from Bayern Munich after ten years and a whopping 21 titles.
On Friday, it became clear that he will be sold to Al-Nassr in Saudi Arabia.
“We would like to thank Kingsley Coman from the bottom of our hearts for a uniquely successful time together,” Bayern boss Max Eberl said on the club’s website.
Kingsley Coman thanks everyone on Social Media:
It’s hard to believe that almost 10 years have passed since I first made Munich my home as a 19-year-old. During that time, I have been fortunate enough to share unforgettable memories and success with this incredible club – 9 Bundesliga titles, 6 Super Cups, 3 German Cups, a Club World Cup, and above all, my proudest moment; to score the winning goal in the Champions League final in Lisbon in 2020.
To the fans – their support through every triumph and every challenge has meant everything to me. I will always carry with me their love, passion, and loyalty.
I am deeply grateful to all the managers, coaches, teammates and all the staff I have had the privilege of working with on my journey.
This club will forever be a part of me, and I wish Bayern nothing but continued success in the seasons to come. From the bottom of my heart, thank you.

A career full of triumphs
Coman, who started his career at Paris Saint-Germain, joined Bayern Munich in 2015 – initially on loan from Juventus, before the transfer became permanent. He became a key player for the Bavarian big club and contributed to 8 Bundesliga titles, 3 DFB-Pokal victories and a historic Champions League triumph in 2020, where he scored the decisive goal in the final against Paris Saint-Germain.
In total, he recorded 72 goals and 71 assists in 339 appearances for Bayern.
New challenge in Saudi Arabia
Now a new challenge awaits in Saudi Arabia, where he will be teammates with players such as Cristiano Ronaldo, Aymeric Laporte and Marcelo Brozović.
Coman has also been a fixture in the French national team, where he has won the World Cup in 2018 and the Nations League in 2021.
Thus, he ends a chapter at Bayern Munich, but his career continues in the Middle East.
