Kjetil Knutsen was linked to Celtic for a period this autumn, until Celtic supporters realized the Norwegian already has something bigger at Bodø/Glimt. The choice then fell on a French MLS coach, who has managed to break two negative records during his first month on the job.
When Wilfried Nancy took over Celtic from super substitute Martin O’Neill, the club stood with five wins in a row, Nancy started with two losses. Not unusual for a coach who has not been close to Scottish football football, but at Celtic it was a historically weak start. In Celtic’s 137-year history, it has never happened before that a head coach has lost his first two games as head coach.

Nancy shook it off, we thought this couldn’t be so bad. Then followed another loss, on Wednesday the Scottish giants also lost 1-2 to Dundee United. With this, four games were lost in a row with Nancy at the helm. And yes, a new historic low.
According to The Athletic , this is the first time in 47 years that the proud club has lost four games in a row. The last time this happened was in January 1978.
