A few years later, Allegri’s words seem totally distant to the greatest talents in the football circus. If you haven’t established yourself in the first eleven by the time you’ve turned 20, then just change clubs. Kobbie Mainoo shows once again that he can’t handle adversity as a 20-year-old at Manchester United.
On Deadline Day, Maino was strongly linked to exit for rental, but everything came to a halt. Ruben Amorim wasn’t particularly interested in letting the 20-year-old go either, he’ll have to grit his teeth, train hard and fight for every single minute in the fight arena.

Three Premier League games into the season, the 20-year-old has been given 45 minutes on the pitch. So while the England internationals are on national team duty, it is self-training for Mainoo without a ticket to Tuchel’s squad.
It is not the first time the young Manchester United players have expressed their dissatisfaction with the situation on Instagram, Mainoo’s latest contribution is unlikely to be to the liking of United supporters – or Amorim.
