Kristoffer Ajer extends contract with Brentford

International Kristoffer Ajer has extended his contract with Brentford until the summer of 2030. The club informs on its website.

The agreement also includes an option for an additional year.

“I’m very pleased that ‘Kris’ has signed a new deal,” Brentford coach Keith Andrews told the club’s own channels.

“He is very popular in the dressing room and has developed into an experienced player,” Andrews continues.

Ajer was clear before the season that he had to get a lot of playing time, preferably as a centre-back, and that he had conveyed this to the club.

In the last five Premier League games, he has started and finished all games in that position.
