Kyle Walker has been a giant for Manchester City since his transfer from Tottenham in 2017. This summer, the 34-year-old was heavily linked with a downsizing in MLS or Saudi Arabian league, but Walker stayed. Against Liverpool at the weekend, we saw signs that the right-back is well over the top. Now work is being done to give City’s bulldozer on the edge an alternative to exile.
Lucrative offers await Walker from the “Ronaldo League” and MLS, where City are considering selling Walker in the summer (market value £13 million), according to Goal. Now talkSport reports that work is being done to create a package that will make Walker feel the time has come to return to the youth club.

Kyle Walker worked his way through Sheffield United’s academy, making 35 appearances, before moving on through Tottenham and countless loan spells, then Manchester City and 6 Premier League titles and the trophy in the Champions League.
According to the English media, Sheffield are interested in signing Walker after the season. With Chris Wilder again at the helm, the club are at the top of the Championship with six wins from their last seven games. A promotion would make a return to Sheffield United attractive. Especially when the 34-year-old himself has said he wants to return to Bramall Lane.

If I can do it, then I would like to,” Walker told Rio Ferdinand’s FIVE podcast earlier this year.
