Bronny James, 18, suffered a cardiac arrest on Monday, July 24. LeBron James’ son was at basketball practice at the time. When Bronny had a heart attack, he was immediately rushed to the hospital, where he was placed in the ICU. Young James was recovering quickly, so he was discharged home at the end of the previous week.
In a statement released by the James family, LeBron James thanked the hospital for caring for his son and fans for their support and prayers. The basketball player indicated that when they are ready, they will reveal the details of Bronny’s case. Until then, they focus on their son. LeBron said Bronny is doing fine, although doctors are still trying to determine what caused the teen’s health problems.
