Leeds United manager Daniel Farke is still hoping to strengthen his squad.
According to reports, Leeds United have agreed personal terms with an AC Milan striker and are hoping to finalise a permanent transfer – not a loan.

Leeds kick off their Premier League season on Monday night when they host David Moyes’ Everton at Elland Road.
Daniel Farke’s side have spent around £100 million on new signings this summer, but none of those funds have been spent on attacking players.
In fact, both of the attack-oriented players Leeds have signed so far – Lukas Nmecha and Dominic Calvert-Lewin – have come on a free transfer.
Leeds are determined to strengthen their attack in the final two weeks of the transfer window, and The Athletic recently revealed Leeds’ interest in Noah Okafor.

The 25-year-old AC Milan striker can play both on the wings and as a central attacking player. Okafor is a concrete target for Leeds, and reporter Ben Jacobs has now stated that club-to-club discussions will progress this week.
“Leeds United opened talks with Noah Okafor last week and discussions continued over the weekend,” Jacobs wrote on social media.
“Leeds want to bring in a new striker before the window closes. No deal with Milan yet, but talks are expected to continue this week.”
In a very encouraging update from Italy, Gazzetta dello Sport journalist Luca Bianchin claims that Leeds have agreed personal terms with Okafor.
“Leeds have reached an agreement on the contract with Noah Okafor,” Bianchin said on social media. “The negotiations are accelerating. Leeds are aiming to finalise a permanent deal. Milan has not said yes yet and is considering the matter.”
How much Leeds are willing to pay has not been clarified. When Okafor joined Milan from RB Salzburg in 2023, he cost around €15 million.
Okafor deal after Leeds failed Liverpool player
Leeds’ interest in Okafor has increased after they failed to sign a player from Liverpool.
The Athletic’s James Pearce – who specialises in Liverpool – previously reported that Leeds showed interest in signing Ben Doak.
The 19-year-old Scot has been given the go-ahead to leave Liverpool, as the road to regular playing time has been blocked by Mohamed Salah.
Doak impressed during a loan spell at Middlesbrough last season, and Liverpool were hoping to make around £25 million in “pure profit” from a sale.
Doak is classified as a “homegrown” player at Anfield after joining from Celtic just four years ago, when he was 15 years old.
However, Bournemouth have had a bid of £25m accepted, and unless last-minute issues arise, Doak will be part of Andoni Iraola’s squad.
