Leeds look like a team that belongs in the Premier League and if it continues as it is now, it is exactly where they are next season. Captain Pascal Struijk has taken to social media to celebrate his 2-0 win over Derby on Saturday at Elland Road.

Joe Rodon and Max Wober scored the goals to send Daniel Farke’s club to the top of the table with 38 points from their 19 Championship games.

Struijk, 25, has been crucial for the West Yorkshire club so far this season, starting 18 of his 19 games in all competitions, scoring two goals in 1647 minutes of action.

Leeds boast the fourth-best defensive stats in the league, having conceded just 13 goals, but they have also given away the most penalties, with three.
