The speculation about a change of manager has been great, even Bodø/Glimt head coach Kjetil Knutsen and Jose Mourinho have appeared on various lists.

  • Leeds chairman Paraag Marathe confirmed to the BBC Daniel Farke will join the Premier League. “He is my man”.

Daniel Farke is the manager who led Leeds back to the Premier League in brilliant style. The team took 100 points in the Championship and won the second division with +65 in goal difference.

  • “I look forward to continuing the collaboration with Daniel.”

Marathe also acknowledges that it will be tough to stay in English football’s top division next season.

  • “I have no illusions that it will be easy. In the last two seasons, all newly promoted teams have been relegated straight back down, but we have something they don’t have – first and foremost Daniel Farke.”

With Farke at the helm, Leeds are showing that they believe in continuity after a successful season. Now it’s all about surprising in the Premier League.
