When Leeds had secured another promotion to the Premier League last summer, it didn’t take many days before reports emerged that the club management was thinking hard about getting rid of the manager who had brought them back to the top flight. Daniel Farke still gained confidence, the optimism with the German at the helm at Elland Road was great. Then the season started, already 12 games into the season, Farke Leeds supporters met great discontent from the stands. Then came the promise, then came the historic FA Cup upturn.
In the Premier League, Farke and Leeds have carved their way up the table, while Tottenham and Nottingham Forest have been caught by gravity. The gang from Elland Road are four points above the relegation line with seven games remaining, Sunday came another real boost for the club.

Then West Ham awaited in the FA Cup quarter-finals. After an intense and dramatic game that had to be decided on penalties, the Leeds players and Farke were able to celebrate their FA Cup semi-final ticket, a feat the club has not achieved in 39 years!
After the game, there was a proud Daniel Farke, who also paid tribute to the supporters.
“I’m just proud of my boys and the way we handled so many setbacks. We stood together and wanted to win this game, and in the end, we were able to cheer and delight our amazing fans with the first semi-final in so many decades. It feels fantastic,” Farke begins to the club’s website.

“I’m very happy for the fans. We are humbled and also grateful that we were able to achieve this. I’m pretty sure that over 30,000 will try to take over the capital (for the semi-finals). In these crazy times in the world, it’s great to give our supporters something to look forward to.”
Now Chelsea awaits in the semi-finals, with what Farke believes 30,000 Leeds supporters colouring the city of London. For us, Leeds is and will remain one of the coolest clubs in England. This group also ensures survival in the top division, we can’t understand anything else.
