The Polish perpetual motion machine continues to impress and score goals on a continuous basis.

Robert Lewandowski was the hero when Barcelona won 4-2 against Celta Vigo in La Liga. The experienced Pole, 37, showed that he is still one of the world’s sharpest goalscorers with a perfect hat-trick.

The victory was secured when young star Lamine Yamal scored Barcelona’s fourth and final goal. A shadow for the victory was when Frenkie de Jong was sent off in injury time, but it did not affect the result.

For Celta Vigo, Norwegian Jones El-Abdellaoui got around a quarter of an hour on the pitch, without any of the goals falling in his playing time.

This hat-trick is just the latest proof of Lewandowski’s exceptional quality. He comes from a legendary spell at Bayern Munich, where he scored five goals in just nine minutes against Wolfsburg in 2015 – an unruly feat that is still remembered across the football world.

Robert Lewandowski now has three La Liga hat-tricks, in addition to his 16 Bundesliga tricks with Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund.
