Liverpool are preparing almost €300 million to end the summer transfer window in style. The bosses at Anfield have decided to make another big investment in the summer transfer window with three goals to assemble the world’s best squad: Alexander Isak from Newcastle, Marc Guehi from Crystal Palace and Giovanni Leoni from Parma.

After signing Florian Wirtz, Hugo Ekitike, Milos Kerkez and Jeremie Frimpong, the Reds are aiming to complete these three reinforcements to win both the Premier League and Champions League.

Alexander Isak, Liverpool’s top priority signing

The most talked about case is Alexander Isak, the Swedish striker from Newcastle United. The tension between the player and the club has escalated in recent weeks. Isak has declared that he will not play for the Magpies until his future is clear, and has expressed his desire to move to Anfield.

Newcastle, however, remain steadfast. They turned down a €140 million offer from Liverpool and insist that the striker is not for sale. Nevertheless, Isak has chosen to increase the pressure, even by refusing to train under Eddie Howe’s orders and making it clear that he will not stay at St James’ Park.

At Anfield, Arne Slot sees Isak as an ideal complement to Mohamed Salah and Darwin Núñez, with mobility, goals and presence in the box. The board, albeit cautiously, is willing to continue negotiations to persuade Newcastle before the transfer window closes.

Marc Guehi, the solution for Liverpool’s defence

The second target on the list is Marc Guehi, the English centre-back from Crystal Palace. The Reds defence is going through a difficult period: Joe Gomez is still injured, Jarell Quansah has moved to Bayer Leverkusen, and Ibrahima Konaté has just one year left on his contract.

Guehi, whose contract with Palace expires next summer, is seen as a key piece in strengthening the defensive line. His Premier League experience and defensive solidity make him a very attractive option. Crystal Palace rejected previous offers from Newcastle, but are now willing to negotiate to avoid the player leaving for free next summer.

For coach Arne Slot, Guehi’s arrival will bring balance, leadership skills and long-term potential. In addition, Guehi wants quality minutes to secure his place in the England national team before the World Cup.

Giovanni Leoni, a future investment

The third name on the agenda is Giovanni Leoni, an 18-year-old Italian centre-back who plays for Parma. Considered one of Europe’s greatest defensive gems, the young stopper has already attracted interest from giants such as Juventus, Inter and Milan.

Liverpool have already started discussions, although it is estimated that at least €30 million will be needed to convince Parma. Trained in Padua and with a short stay at Sampdoria, Leoni excels with his understanding of the game, technical quality and tactical maturity that is unusual for his age.

This summer, Liverpool have strengthened several positions with signings such as Jeremie Frimpong, Hugo Ekitike and Florian Wirtz. But the board believes that the arrival of Isak, Guehi and Leoni will give the team the perfect balance to compete for all titles.

The project aims to combine Premier League experience with young talent and international potential. In this regard, the club’s strategy is similar to previous moves that solidified their success, such as the signings of Virgil van Dijk or Alisson Becker.

Liverpool aim to close a historic transfer window

The power struggle between Alexander Isak and Newcastle will be decisive. If the attacker holds his own and Liverpool increase their offer, one of the club’s most expensive transfers could take place.

On the other hand, the deal seems more feasible for Marc Guehi, as Palace are open to negotiations. As for Giovanni Leoni, Liverpool’s ability to lure the player and persuade Parma in the coming weeks will be crucial.

With the transfer window coming to an end, Liverpool are working at full speed to secure these three signings. Success will bring them closer to their goal of forming a squad that can fight for all titles in England and Europe.

The outcome will depend on quick negotiations, convincing offers and whether the selling clubs bow to the pressure of a giant eager to dominate world football.
