Since signing with Liverpool in 2017, Robertson has played a pivotal role in Jürgen Klopp’s rebuilding of the club as a title contender – and winner. With the Scot on the pitch, the Reds have filled the premiership with trophies in the Premier League, Champions League, FA Cup and League Cup. With his contract expiring in the summer of 2026, we are in the phase where the 31-year-old’s future will be decided.
Caughtoffside’s sources “close to the agent industry” claim that in the transition to March, Robertson’s upcoming season will be decided, whether there will be an extension or contract expiration. Liverpool are not actively pushing for Robertson to change clubs, but are believed to be open if it ensures Robertson can maintain regular first-team football elsewhere, it is reported.

Robertson was heavily linked with a mini-shock transfer to Tottenham, in the last week of the transfer window, but Tottenham continued without Robertson, sacked Thomas Frank, brought in Igor Tudor – who now moved one point closer to relegation after a 1-4 loss to Arsenal.
At Liverpool, Robertson has 1335 minutes in the match so far this season, but has to face the fact that Milos Kerkez is getting more and more of his playing time at left-back.
So which clubs are relevant for the Liverpool veteran, if it ends with an exit this summer?
Caughoffside highlights Celtic, the club Robertson has often spoken warmly about. Atletico Madrid love the Scot’s drive and winning mentality, while Wolverhampton Wanderers, Crystal Palace and Aston Villa will also be closely monitoring the process ahead of the summer transfer window.
We really hope the veteran takes one or two more seasons at Anfield. Andy Robertson is Liverpool.
