Transfer journalist Nicolò Schira, wrote on social media:
“Done deal and confirmed! Milos Kerkez to Liverpool from Bournemouth. Contract until 2030. The left-back has turned down three other offers to join Liverpool.”

Once the move to Anfield is officially confirmed, Kerkez will be Liverpool’s third signing in the summer transfer window, after Jeremie Frimpong (Bayer Leverkusen) and Armin Pesci (Puskas AFC).

Florian Wirtz is also on his way to the club, after Liverpool agreed a Premier League record deal with Bayer Leverkusen. The German superstar is due to undergo his medical test soon, and he will become the most expensive signing in the club’s history.

Kerkez becomes Liverpool’s new left-back

Kerkez comes after an impressive last season at Bournemouth. The 21-year-old started every Premier League game in the 2024/25 season, accounting for two goals and five assists, as Bournemouth secured their best ever finish in the English top flight.

Andrew Robertson on his way out of Liverpool?

With Kerkez on his way in, this could spell the end for Andrew Robertson at Liverpool.

The Scotland international has been a key player for the Reds since joining from Hull City in 2017, but Atlético Madrid are now working to finalise a deal with him following the news of Kerkez’s arrival.

Real Madrid have also been given the opportunity to sign Robertson, but they have declined to pursue a deal with Benfica’s Álvaro Carreras instead.
