Liverpool are reportedly ready for another big transfer – This summer, the Reds spent a significant amount of money when they signed players such as Alexander Isak, Florian Wirtz, Hugo Ekitike, Milos Kerkez, Jeremie Frimpong, Giovanni Leoni, Armin Pecsi and Freddie Woodman.
But the Reds still missed out on a deadline day deal to sign Crystal Palace defender Marc Guehi, after the Eagles stopped the transfer at the twelfth hour.

All in all, Liverpool spent over €450 million, despite already having a squad strong enough to win the Premier League title in the 24/25 season. Manager Arne Slot has his sights set on a new signing, and it could happen as early as this winter’s transfer window.
According to a report by DAVE OCKOP, Liverpool have a serious interest in Palace star Adam Wharton.
It has been suggested that Wharton would prefer a move to Anfield, despite interest from other clubs.
The report stated that Spanish giants Real Madrid are also keeping a close eye on the midfielder, and any transfer is expected to exceed £60 million.
In addition, it has been claimed that Wharton could make a move to Liverpool in January, but that depends on how the Premier League champions approach the window. Wharton, 21, has impressed since joining Palace from Blackburn Rovers back in 2024.
After a string of brilliant performances for Palace, Wharton made his debut for England in June 2024 before being included in Gareth Southgate’s Three Lions squad for Euro 2024 in Germany.
So far, the young player has a total of 49 appearances for the Selhurst Park club.
Speaking about Liverpool’s use this week, Slot said: “I think this is the model we use at this club. This ownership model is used at the club and we have to give them, not only them, but Richard, Michael, everyone involved in this window, such a big compliment because we have changed so many players.”
“We’ve created our own budget by selling players, by winning the league, and as a result we’ve brought in so many players who are younger than the ones we sold, so we’re maybe even forward-looking, and yet everyone only talks about the ones we brought in, so that’s the biggest compliment you can get.”
