Two months ago, Liverpool fans burned Trent Alexander-Arnold shirts and showered him with insults online for choosing to sign for Real Madrid.
They called him a snake to leave, despite the fact that he gave the club almost nine months’ notice and did everything possible to part on good terms.

Now Alexander Isak is doing exactly the same thing – forcing himself out of the club that developed him, ignoring conversations and disappearing without a trace to force through a move to Liverpool.
Still, Liverpool fans have no problem with that this time. In fact, they actively encourage him to do whatever it takes to get out there and sign for them.
