Work is underway at Anfield to find a reliable replacement for Trent Alexander-Arnold. Liverpool are aware that the England defender, one of the mainstays of the last few seasons, has decided to join Real Madrid.
Real Madrid have been following him for a while and reportedly have everything in place to bring him to the Santiago Bernabeu in the upcoming summer transfer window. Liverpool, on the other hand, have set their sights on Spanish football, more specifically Óscar Mingueza.

The Celta Vigo defender has captured the attention of Liverpool’s scouts because of his versatility, top-level experience, and potential for growth. Mingueza, who is trained in La Masía and with a background at FC Barcelona, has established himself in Balaídos as a reliable player both as a right-back and central defender.
A reasonable signing for Liverpool
Óscar Mingueza has a release clause of just €20 million, a figure that is well within Liverpool’s means and is considered a positive cost-benefit by the club. According to close sources, contact has already been made with the player’s representatives to gauge his willingness to make the move.
The deal can be quickly finalized once Alexander-Arnold’s departure is official, marking a new chapter for both parties.
