Last summer, Real Madrid pulled Trent Alexander-Arnold out of Liverpool. The Englishman chose the world’s biggest club and shitloads of money over writing himself into Liverpool’s history as one of the truly great legends. A few months before next summer, Liverpool are the active party, this time a Real Madrid player will be brought to Anfield.
This winter, there were reports of various pushes to sign Eduardo Camavinga, but the answer was, according to Spanish media, a clear “untouchable”. The 23-year-old was still to be targeted at Real. A few months later, it is reported that Liverpool continue to show their interest in the France international, this time it could be an opening.

Because while Camavinga has enormous potential, the last few months have shown the 23-year-old has not quite found his footing at Real Madrid, and has been used in the role of extremely versatile, the player who can be placed where the need may lie for the coach at any given time. This season, the Real coaches have used the 23-year-old in central midfield, defensive midfield, left-back, left midfield and right winger (!).
According to Spanish transfer journalist Matteo Moretto, Real Madrid are now actually ready to consider bids for Camavinga this summer. According to Caughtoffside’s sources , Liverpool have had new contact with Camavinga’s representatives. The 23-year-old has been discussed internally at Liverpool, and they have now also had two separate meetings with the player’s representatives, it is reported.
According to the Spanish transfer journalist, Real Madrid could accept bids as low (everything is relative) as 50 million euros for Camavinga, with the strongest interest reported by Liverpool.
