Brazilian striker Roberto Firmino, who was worth €90 million at his peak, left Liverpool in the summer of 2023 after eight years at the club, although he was far from retirement age.

Roberto Firmino has made a big impression there. During his time with Al-Ahli, the Brazilian striker made 65 appearances in all competitions, scoring 21 goals and providing 17 assists. Firmino has been appointed captain and led Al-Ahli to the title in the Asian Champions League this spring.

Now his career continues in Qatar, which is a notch more free from religious fundamentalism than Saudi Arabia.

Al Sadd from Qatar has now presented Firmino as his latest new acquisition.
