Contract offer to Keyrol Figueroa
Among the players who have been offered a new contract is Keyrol Figueroa (18). His father, Maynor Figueroa, is a Premier League veteran of Wigan Athletic and Hull City.
The young talent, who represents the USA at youth level, has impressed greatly in Liverpool:
- Scored a whopping 90 goals in a calendar year at youth level
- Signed his first professional contract last year
International chance and future plans
Figueroa will later this month represent the United States U20 national team in matches against Norway and Colombia in Egypt.
If he accepts Liverpool’s offer, he could get a chance at the first team next season – and follow in his father’s footsteps in the Premier League.

“Sturridge during his time at Liverpool was also the kind of player I looked up to.”
Self-description as a player
“I’d say I’m powerful, good at playing with my back to the goal, and a complete goalscorer – I can score with my left, right and head.”
Dad’s Legendary Goal
Maynor Figueroa played over 200 Premier League games and scored one of the league’s most memorable goals – a free-kick from his own half against Stoke City.
