A new exit opportunity has opened up for Harvey Elliott.
RB Leipzig have reportedly entered the race to sign Liverpool’s attacking midfielder Harvey Elliott this summer. Elliott still has two years left on his contract, but it is currently unclear whether he will remain at Anfield until next season.

The 22-year-old admitted in May that he may have to consider his future at Liverpool after struggling for game time in Arne Slot’s first season as manager.
Elliott made just six starts in 28 official games, including two starts in 18 Premier League appearances.
Leipzig linked with Elliott
With Elliott looking for more playing time, several Premier League clubs have shown interest, including Brighton & Hove Albion.
“The Seagulls” should be confident of securing a deal ahead of competitors such as Aston Villa and Newcastle United.
West Ham United have recently been linked with a possible transfer, meaning Elliott will have no shortage of Premier League successors if he leaves the club this summer.
But he could also have the opportunity to leave the English top division for another European elite league.
According to the Daily Mail, RB Leipzig are showing interest in bringing the England U21 international to the Bundesliga. Jürgen Klopp, who is now head of Red Bull’s global football venture, has been personally involved now that an opportunity has opened up at Liverpool that is unlikely to cause anger among his friends and former colleagues.
After losing Champions League football last year, Leipzig are eager to strengthen their squad ahead of Ole Werner’s first season as coach.
Leipzig could look at Elliott as a potential replacement for Xavi Simons, who seems to want to leave the Red Bull Arena.
What is Elliott’s transfer fee?
Liverpool are reportedly asking for at least £40 million to let Elliott leave in this transfer window.
But there is a possibility that “The Reds” could increase the price after his impressive performances in the U21 European Championship.
Elliott has scored four goals in five games in the 2025 tournament, including a double in the semi-final win over the Netherlands on Wednesday.
After firing England into the final, Elliott will be hoping to play a key role in Saturday’s final against Germany, with Lee Carsley’s side aiming to defend their European Under-21 title.
