There is a good atmosphere at Anfield these days, an atmosphere that will be even better on Sunday when they take at least a point against Tottenham who are in crisis and win the Premier League.

Liverpool are actively working to secure three new players this summer.

Liverpool have made a “strong attempt” to sign one of their main goalkeepers in what could be a spectacular six-player swap.

After securing new contracts with both Mohamed Salah and Virgil van Dijk, Liverpool are now focusing on the summer transfer window.

Several names have been linked with Anfield, including a trio of Premier League stars – all from the same club.

According to The Daily Mail, Bournemouth players Dean Huijsen, Milos Kerkez and Antoine Semenyo are being chased by Liverpool, with all three high on the club’s wish list.

German journalist Florian Plettenberg has confirmed Liverpool’s interest in Huijsen, who is seen as a replacement for Jarell Quansah in the squad.

In return, Bournemouth are interested in three Liverpool players, which could potentially lead to a six-player swap.

Bournemouth Liverpool Goalkeepers

It is claimed that “The Cherries” are keeping an eye on:

  • Caoimhin Kelleher (goalkeeper)
  • Harvey Elliott (midfield)
  • Ben Doak (winger)

A six-player swap is a possibility, but independent transfers for each individual player may also be relevant.

Realistic transition scenarios

According to the report, Kelleher is the most realistic of Bournemouth’s goalkeepers. The 26-year-old, who has made 20 appearances across all competitions this season, is looking to secure a move away from Anfield – especially after Giorgi Mamardashvili is ready for the club through a pre-deal.

The Irish international goalkeeper only has one year left on his contract, and Liverpool want a transfer fee to avoid him leaving for free. Around £20 million has been mentioned.

Harvey Elliott has been frustrated with limited playing time under Arne Slot this season, but is happy at Liverpool and wants to fight for his place. The club has no plans to sell the 22-year-old.

Ben Doak, who has impressed on loan at Middlesbrough, is considered a great talent. However, with Liverpool’s attacking options, it looks like the 19-year-old Scot’s first choice will be a new loan deal or sale.
