Liverpool had more or less written off veteran Andy Robertson before the season. In came Milos Kerkez, who had thundered back and forth on the left with great success at Bournemouth. It turned out that the Hungarian 22-year-old is anything but ready to lift the reigning Premier League champions. When Robertson got his chances throughout the season, Liverpool supporters posted messages that Kehrez is nowhere near as good as the 31-year-old. Nevertheless, for Robertsen there have been crumbs of spiille time, now there are reports of deep negotiations for change.

Robertsen, with his 363 appearances in a Liverpool shirt since his move from Hull City in 2017, is synonymous with the Reds. Now the rest of the season can end at one of the rivals in London.

Because according to The Athletic, negotiations are ongoing between Tottenham and Liverpool about the signing of Andy Robertson. Tottenham desperately need to strengthen their defence, Robertson desperately needs game time ahead of Scotland’s first World Cup finals in 28 years.

His contract with Liverpool expires in the summer, so if Robertson is mentally ready to pull on the white Spurs shirt, then this should be a formality. It is reported that the negotiations are in the final phase.

For the Liverpool supporters, losing the hard worker Robertson is a big loss, for Tottenham a real boost into the latter part of the season.
