Here he played 33 games for the 28-year-old. Phillips was the player Jürgen Klopp would have liked to have let play more, but the competition in central defence with title ambitions was too tough.
The Liverpool Echo reports Phillips is undergoing medical testing at West Bromwich Albion on Monday as Ryan Mason’s first signing as the new manager.
