Strømsgodset, who signed Icelandic left-back Logi Tomasson from Vikingur in the summer of 2023 for 230,000 euros, are struggling this season. The Drammen club now has an impressive losing streak of four games and finds itself in the yellow zone in 14th place with only 6 points after 9 games.
Now 24-year-old Logi Tomasson has signed for Turkish Samsunspor, both the Turkish club and Strømsgodset confirmed on Saturday.

Four-year contract in Turkey
After two years at Strømsgodset, he is ready for Turkish football on a deal worth 700,000 euros. Brann was interested in the winter, but now it will instead be a four-year contract at Samsunspor – who landed with a cry of distress in third place in the Süper Lig ahead of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s Besiktas.
Godset confirms
Strømsgodset confirms that the final details must be formally in place, but that the agreement is ready in practice. If everything goes as planned, the transfer will be official when the Turkish transfer window opens on July 1.

Flo: – Wanted new challenges
Sports director Jostein Flo comments on his own website:
