Manchester City want to sign Diogo Costa

Maisfutebol reports that Manchester City are making a bid worth €60 million, including bonuses, for the Porto goalkeeper. The deal is said to be driven by sporting director Hugo Viana, formerly of Sporting Lisbon, who is said to be a big admirer of Costa.

The 25-year-old is still under contract with Porto until June 2027, with a buyout clause of €75 million (£63.8 million). It remains to be seen whether the Portuguese giants will accept an offer below this sum, or if they will insist that the full amount must be paid.
