20 Premier League clubs are chasing the sale, loan and purchase of players on the January transfer market. According to the English media, Manchester City spent £180 million in the January window. To put the amount in context, this is roughly as much as the rest of the 19 Premier League clubs spent combined (£370 million in total for all PL clubs).
