Joshua Zirkzee has been linked with an exit already after his first season at Manchester United. The player has his qualities, but has not delivered what the Man United game has needed. Outside the ball island, Zirkzee still has a high star, now it is reported that the Dutchman could be relevant in a trade.
Midfielder Éderson joined Atalanta from Salernitana in the summer of 2022 and has 172 appearances in the Atalanta shirt. Zirkzee is open to a move in the summer, with Atalanta keen on the Dutch striker, who appeared at Bologna in 2022-24 with 14 goals and 9 assists in 58 appearances. According to The Mirror , United are also interested in Éderson, where a swap could be on the cards.
The 26-year-old has so far won three caps for Brazil, a real box-to-box midfielder with great running ability, defensive strengths and the ability to contribute offensively.
If United choose this track, they will enter negotiations with Atlanta with an ace in their hand – in the form of Zirkzee.
