The Veterans Who Are Leaving
- Jonny Evans (36 years old): The experienced Northern Irish centre-back returned to United for one season, but is expected to retire after this season.
- Tom Heaton (38 years): Experienced Heaton has been third choice in goal and is likely to end his career.
Players on free transfer
