Manchester United are showing interest in signing Nottingham Forest midfielder Ibrahim Sangaré, who could be available for a price in excess of £43 million.
The Red Devils will be on the hunt for at least one new midfielder in the summer transfer window, as Casemiro has confirmed that he will leave the club at the end of the season when his contract expires.

The Manchester club have been linked with a number of new midfielders ahead of the summer transfer window, after they failed to bring in anyone last year or in January.
If the Red Devils want to fight for Premier League titles again, they need reinforcements all over the pitch, but signing a midfielder is likely to be a main priority for them later this year.
Manchester United target Nottingham Forest duo
According to a report from Caught Offside, Manchester United have scouted Nottingham Forest midfielder Sangaré, and it is believed that he could cost upwards of £43 million.
Manchester United have now added him to their midfield list ahead of the summer transfer window, joining a number of players they target for midfield. “We already know that Elliot Anderson is on Manchester United’s radar.
United are also believed to be one of several Premier League clubs chasing Sangaré, so it’s not surprising that they have more players on their list.
Manchester United need more midfielders
With Casemiro on his way out, it is obvious that United need at least one midfielder, but it could be argued that they could need to bring in more before next season.
The Manchester club have a good chance of finishing in the Champions League places, so they will need more players to handle the hectic fixture calendar.
Manuel Ugarte is one option for Michael Carrick at the moment, but the Uruguayan midfielder has failed to live up to expectations since his move to Old Trafford.
It looks set to be a busy summer transfer window for United as they aim to build a squad that can once again compete at the top of the Premier League.
